Kinnedy "ScribeCash" Storay
Kinnedy “ScribeCash” Storay began her career as a rapper, singer, and director at just 18 years old. Over the years, she built a loyal following of over 250,000 across platforms and toured with artists like Eric Bellinger, Kid Ink, and Mindless Behavior. In 2024—ten years after her first self-directed music videos premiered on MTV, Revolt TV, VH1, and BET—Scribe transitioned her focus fully into filmmaking.
Now 30 and a new mom, she released four films in 2024 while pregnant, solidifying her voice as a rising powerhouse in independent cinema. Her most recent film, Different With Me, premiered in 2025 and was written to reflect the complexities of dating as a “high-powered woman.” With bold, character-driven storytelling that uplifts Black women, Scribe is often compared to Issa Rae and Ava DuVernay—but she’s carving a path that’s uniquely her own.
